Professional Services
Supporting counselors beyond the therapy room
My work in the counseling profession extends beyond providing therapy. As an experienced clinician, LPC Supervisor, private practice owner, and former clinical and operational leader, I understand that becoming a counselor and building a sustainable practice both require support that extends beyond what we learn in graduate school.
WillBridge Counseling offers professional services for counselors at different stages of their careers, including clinical supervision for LPC Associates and private practice consultation for mental health professionals who are developing or strengthening their own practices.
These services are separate from psychotherapy services and are designed specifically for mental health professionals.
Supervision may include support with:
- Case conceptualization and treatment planning
- Counseling skills and clinical interventions
- Documentation and clinical decision-making
- Ethical and professional issues
- Boundaries and therapeutic relationships
- Developing your theoretical orientation and clinical identity
- Working with children, adolescents, adults, and families
- Understanding private practice and different clinical settings
- Preparing for the transition from LPC Associate to independently licensed clinician
- Professional development and long-term career goals
LPC-Associate Supervision
Growing from counselor to clinician
Becoming an LPC Associate is an exciting transition, but it is also a period of significant professional growth. Supervision should be more than completing the hours required for full licensure. It should provide a space to strengthen your clinical skills, develop confidence in your professional judgment, explore your identity as a counselor, and receive support as you navigate the realities of clinical practice.
As a Texas LPC Supervisor, I approach supervision as a collaborative developmental process. My goal is to help associates strengthen both their clinical skills and their confidence in using those skills independently.
I want associates to leave supervision not simply having completed their required hours, but feeling prepared to practice independently and make thoughtful, ethical clinical decisions.
Interested in Supervision?
Prospective LPC Associates may submit a résumé and brief introduction to info@willbridgecounseling.com.
Submitting a résumé does not guarantee a supervision relationship. We will first determine whether my supervision style, experience, availability, and your professional goals are a good fit.
Areas we can work on
- Getting started: Identifying what needs to happen before opening your practice, organizing priorities, and developing an actionable startup plan.
- Practice setup and systems: EHR selection and setup, scheduling systems, intake processes, forms, documentation workflows, communication systems, and day-to-day operations.
- Insurance and credentialing: Understanding the credentialing process, CAQH, NPI considerations, insurance panels, third-party platforms, and considerations when deciding between insurance and private pay.
- Fees and services: Developing your service structure, establishing private-pay rates, considering insurance versus private pay, and organizing how services are presented to prospective clients.
- Policies and procedures: Identifying policies, consent forms, administrative procedures, and workflows that may be needed as your practice develops.
- Client experience: Looking at what happens from the time someone first contacts your practice through intake, scheduling, ongoing services, and discharge.
- Practice operations: Creating systems that make the administrative side of your practice more manageable, including scheduling, billing workflows, record requests, communication, and other operational needs.
- Growth and troubleshooting: Identifying what is not working, addressing inefficient systems, and helping you determine the next steps as your practice changes.
Private Practice Consultation
You know how to be a therapist. Building the practice is a different skill.
Graduate school teaches us how to become counselors. It does not necessarily teach us how to build the systems behind a private practice.
Choosing an EHR, setting up intake processes, determining whether to accept insurance, navigating credentialing, establishing fees, developing policies, creating workflows, managing documentation, and figuring out what actually needs to happen behind the scenes can quickly become overwhelming.
I offer individual private practice consultation for mental health professionals who want practical guidance while starting, developing, or strengthening their practices.
My consultation approach is not based on giving you a generic blueprint and telling you to follow it. We will look at the practice you are trying to create, identify where you need support, and develop practical next steps that fit your goals.
Consultation Options
You may need one conversation to answer a few specific questions, or you may want continued guidance while putting the pieces of your practice together. Both options are available.
Individual Consultation
There is no ongoing commitment required for individual consultation.
Designed for focused questions, troubleshooting, or guidance on a specific area of your practice.
Designed for more in-depth consultation, planning, or working through multiple areas of practice development.
Practice Development Consultation
For clinicians who want continued support while starting or strengthening their practice, three-month consultation options are available.
| Package | What is included | Monthly investment |
|---|---|---|
| Foundation | Two 60-minute consultations per month | $275/month |
| Development | Three 60-minute consultations per month plus limited email or text support between consultations | $400/month |
| Growth | Four 60-minute consultations per month plus limited email or text support between consultations | $525/month |
Practice Development Consultation is offered in three-month increments to provide enough time to establish goals, implement changes, troubleshoot challenges, and make adjustments as your practice develops.
Implementation note:
For packages that include between-session support, the consultation agreement should define what limited support includes, expected response times, business hours, and which concerns require a scheduled consultation. Do not describe this as unlimited access.
Not sure which option you need?
That’s okay. You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Tell me where you are in the process, what you are trying to accomplish, and where you are getting stuck. We can determine whether a one-time consultation or ongoing practice development support better fits what you need.
Important information
Private practice consultation is educational and consultative in nature. Consultation does not constitute legal, financial, tax, accounting, or clinical supervision services. Information provided during consultation should not be considered a substitute for advice from an attorney, accountant, licensing board, insurance company, payer, or other appropriate professional.
Clinicians remain responsible for their own professional decisions and for ensuring that their practices comply with applicable laws, licensing board rules, ethical standards, payer requirements, and other professional obligations.
